Unity Housing Association are delighted to announce that we are building some new houses and flats at Kippax, along with new houses and bungalows at Beckhill Grove.

Please see below the Local Letting Criteria for both these schemes.
Chipesch Way, Kippax

We expect these to be ready later this year. What is on offer:

  • Six x 3 Bedroom, 5 Person houses
  • Five x 2 Bedroom, 4 Person houses
  • Three x 1 Bedroom, 2 Person flats for people over 55 years of age
  • Nine x 2 Bedroom, 3 Person flats for people over 55 years of age

If you wish to be considered you must have an application registered with the Leeds Homes Scheme, and bid on the property when it is advertised by Leeds Homes.

Anyone who is interested in one of these new properties, must have an excellent tenancy record. We will visit you at your current home before allocating you one of our new homes.

You must be bale to prove that you have a local connection to the Electoral Ward, either by living or working in the area or have children who attend local schools, or have immediate family who live in the area.

Beckhill Grove, Meanwood

We expect these to be ready later this year. What is on offer:

  • Two x 4 Bedroom, 8 Person houses
  • Twenty-four x 3 Bedroom, 5 Person houses
  • Two x 2 Bedroom, 4 Person houses
  • Two x 2 Bedroom, 3 Person bungalows for people who have a medical condition which warrants this type of home. Applicants will need a Medical Priority Award.

If you wish to be considered you must have an application registered with the Leeds Homes Scheme, and bid on the property when it is advertised by Leeds Homes.

Anyone who is interested in one of these new properties, must have an excellent tenancy record. Unity will visit you at your current home before allocating you one of our new homes.

For both schemes, preference will then be given to families who are in social housing and:

  • Have a priority award
  • Are a family who need more bedrooms
  • Have too many bedrooms for their family size

Anyone who is allocated one of these new homes need to pay rent in advance. If you are going to pay weekly, one weeks rent is required, if you wish to pay monthly, then one months rent must be paid before keys are handed over.
